I don’t know what it is about these astronomical-seasonal days that I find significant (beyond the obvious, “first day of spring”), but regardless, I like to mark them somehow.
I’m not into astrology, but I learned that in celestial sea navigation, “first point of Aries” is what the spring equinox was called. Kind of esoteric. I dig it. Here’s to the new season.

Such a gorgeous photo! Feels like a fairy tale.
A fairy tale, maybe minus the power line :) This was this morning. I didn’t want to leave my house…
Oh my, gorgeous photo. Where?
In my backyard! Side yard, to be exact. Virginia.
That photo is breathtaking! The colors, the light, the silhouette of the trees. Can’t believe you live here.
Came upon this blog recently and just love the photos, posts, and website!
It does indeed look like a fairy tale,.. so mystical, definitely fitting. I love that yellow.
Amazing photograph. Such perfect light, and the seclusion of that little building. Wonderful.
Oof. This is just so lovely. What a mood. Thank you.
Thanks, Heather.
Spring equates a very volatile season for us here in tornado alley. I try to push it back as much as I can, but Mother Nature has a mission this year and it seems she’s started early to accomplish it. However if, I had you sights to way up to, I’d adore Spring!
Ack! Tornadoes are serious business. Come to Virginia!
Such a perfect scene-setter, ethereal and serene. Incredible photo!
That is one powerful photo! Thanks for sharing it!
Wonderful photo, the atmosphere, the colour, like it very much!

Dreamy.
Congratulations Sarah.
A brilliant photo. I think the electrical line works well, is perfectly aligned and poses a nice juxtaposition between you and your environment.
I’m loving your food, keep it up
